SAP is Back :)

Assalam o Alikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!

Hmmm well! SAP was off for more than two weeks, and none of you bothered to ask why? :@

I would like to remind you all, that we started SAP, with the aim to change ourselves , to work on our inner self individually. And for this purpose we wanted to create an environment so that we keep uplifting our Eman when it gets down.

All of you who joined SAP, had the same intention, and there was a zeal to change. But for some reasons, you felt it once not working, you missed a task, and you gave up.

We are all believers Alhumdulillah, and the condition of believers are strange at times.

Sometimes you feel your Emaan so high and sometimes it’s very low. Does it happen with others too?

Read and Ponder on the following para.

”  often we find ourselves in a state of fluctuating Iman, sometimes it’s very high sometimes we feel we have hit rock bottom. The qalb (Heart) changes frequently the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: ” The heart of the son of Adam changes more quickly than a pan of rapid boiling water”

In another report he SAW said: “The likeness of the heart is that of a feather in an empty plot of land, being blown over and over by the wind”.

This instability of the heart leads to the increase and decrease of iman, it is natural to have these ups and downs. In another beautiful narration Prophet Muhammad SAW said: ”there is no heart that is not covered by a cloud like the cloud covering the moon when it is shining, and so it suddenly goes dark, but when it(the cloud) goes away, it shines again” this comparison subhan’Allah , is exactly what our heart is like. We may have a state of darkness, as a result of falling into sin and so forth causing  a covering over the heart, until one  makes an effort to  change for the good, this veil is removed allowing for light to enter the heart rejuvenating the iman.

Iman is constantly changing like the heart it increases with obedience to Allah and decreases with disobedience “….Which of you has had his iman increase by it?” (9:124) Your iman increases or decreases from the state that which it is currently in.

A believer must check his/her heart, seek purification of it if one doesn’t do so they can fall into great error they begin to feel hardening of the heart, no love or fear of Allah. This sickness weakens the iman, one must try to leave what bad they are committing make tawbah and implement good deeds and acts of worship. Purify your intentions when doing so to insure it’s for the sake and pleasure of Allah SWT making your iman increase and inshaAllah safeguard it from falling back into sin. Just like a roller coaster you have never road before the heart and iman go up and down sideways and upside-down being aware of our actions, being sincere in our Ibadah and actions purifying your heart. Doing so Be’ithnillah your Iman increases from the state it is in now.

May Allah increase our iman when we have fallen into weakness, keep our heart in the state of purification, safeguard our deen. Ameen

                                                                                                                        -Amaturahman Umm Sufyan”

Hmm now come back to the interesting thing, why was SAP stopped? It was stopped because the admin for SAP was unfortunately a human 🙂 ,  and we were unable to find an angel to work for us,  so obviously she had the downs in Emaan too.

Do forgiver her for that, and come back to the routine now. 🙂

As we’r going to restart SAP, it’s better that we all once look for all the past tasks, and implement them all at once now. Search for the task you did not follow, and follow that.

Remember we stated, one week doesn’t mean,  chutti after that . It means make a habit with that one week, and keep that habit grow stronger and stronger.

So now everybody out there, who is interested to join us in this continuity of SAP, can let us know with your emails, or in the discussion form below.

Let’s try raising our Emaan, May ALLAH subhanahu ta’ala forgive all our major and minor sins, and accept the tiny tiny efforts.

It’s a self assessment week itself, look inside, understand what spiritual condition you are in, and make your own assessment about what is your report about yourself, how much did you change, and how much did you try to change.

Assalaam U Alaykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuhu

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Sometimes, a person says a thing which pleases Allah, and in return Allah raises his status (rewards him), and sometimes a persons says something which displeases Allah, and it takes him to Hell.” [Saheeh al-Bukharee]

A Muslim must always remember, without a doubt, that he will account for every good and bad thing that he says. He will be rewarded for his good words, and he will be punished for every bad word that he says. Allah (S.W.T.) says in surat Quaaf, which can be translated as, “Not a word does he utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it) .” (Verse 18)

Avoid Abusive Language and Lies…

It is from the tricks of Shaytaan that he first makes sins look insignificant and minor in the eyes of the believers, and then gradually deceives them to commit those sins. Lying is one of them, and people do not show much concern about its prohibition, however, lying is a characteristic of hypocrisy, Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Amr al-Aas (radhi allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Whoever has the following four characteristics will be a pure hypocrite; and whoever has one of these four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up; whenever he is entrusted he betrays, whenever he speaks he tells a lie, whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous, and whenever he quarrels he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner.” [Saheeh al-Bukharee]

The Prophet, Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him (saaws – peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Abusing a Muslim is a sin, and killing him is disbelief.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

so, Beautify your tongue with the pearls of TRUTH!!!

O you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah and speak (always) the truth”
Surah Al-Ahzab (33:70)

Some TIPS to speak Beautifully…

Always speak when it is beneficial or remain silent…

Do not shout or scream on others…
Prophet Muhammad (saw) also said: “There are rooms in Heaven which are transparent. Allah (SWT) has prepared them for those who feed the hungry ones, use nice words in their speech and avoid bad talk and verbal abuse.”

Muslims are instructed to attract other people’s love and friendship by using good words.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “A believer shall not curse others.”

Never use bad language, even if you are serious or just kidding around, because Allah hates the disobedient, and He hates the one who curses

Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) has strictly forbade lying at all times, but he (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) specifically cursed the person who lies to make people laugh, he (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Woe be on one who speaks and lies in order to make people laugh, woe be on him.” [Abu Dawood vol: 3, no. 4972.]

so, In this week let’s try to speak as you are spreading the fragrances of flowers…

Let HIM Remember You This Week (Task#2)

Assalam o Alikum Wa RahmatuLLAHI Wa Barakatuhu!

Imagine, just for a moment imagine, if someone comes to you and tells you that ALLAH is mentioning your name, ALLAH is remembering you,. ALLAHU AKBAR!

What feelings would you develop??? I guess we all die with pleasure if we come to know about this news. And ALLAHU AKBAR! This is going to happen this week in sha ALLAH .

ALLAH will mention your name, He will remember you.

Ali afzal / Asmeerah/ Hejab/ Komel / Mehwish / Mohammad Shoib / Momina / Noor ul Huda / Palwashay / Rizmi Tahir / Sara Fazal / Shiza Nasir / Waqas / Wendy / Zara / Zainab  . . . . . . .

ALLAH mentioning you!   ALLAH calling your name!

But how???

“Narrated Abu-Huraira (RadiALLAHU anhu): ‘Allah’s  Messenger (Sallal lahu alahi wa aalihi wassalam) ) said:

“Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks of Me, (I am Able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I TOO REMEMBER HIM IN MYSELF , and if he remembers Me in a group of people I remember him in a group that is better than his, and if he comes one span nearer to Me I go one cubit nearer to him, and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him, and if he comes to Me walking I go to him running.’ (Bukhari)”

Yes you have guessed correctly, our next week practice is “Dhikr”.

Normally what happens is that we offer salah, and we just run away after saying ending salam of salah. , or even if we stay on the salah mat, and do some dhikr , we don’t have concentration, we just count, and wait when the count will get over.

Nah! is it remembrance ???

Have you ever seen someone thinking about his lover in loneliness ??? A smile comes on his face, and he just go deep in remembrance. so deep  that he even doesn’t feel that you are noticing his actions.

This is the true remembrance, remembrance must take you deep in feelings,

just counting on the counter that how many times we have said subhana ALLAH, this isn’t the true essence of Dhikr, and this doesn’t bring the true effects of Dhikr.

Remember ALLAH deeply ,

Do you think that the laws of Islam are too much??? Okay listen!

” ‘Abdullah ibn Busr (RadiALLAHU anhu)  reported a man said,

“Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam are too much for me. Tell me something I can cling to.” He said, “Your tongue should remain moist with the REMEMBRANCE  of Allah.” (at-Tirmidhi)

Let’s make a habit this week , to remember ALLAH , to do Dhikr of ALLAH after every Salah with CONCENTRATION.

How many times, or what dhikr to do ,we are not making any compulsion, its between you and your ALLAH.

But the main focus of this task is to do Dhikr with CONCENTRATION.

WaLLAHI! when you sit on the salah mat,  do dhikr, and suddenly you imagine that ALLAH is making mention of you, a sudden smile really and surely comes on your lips.

Don’t waste this great great great opportunity. Remember ALLAH from the bottom of your heart. Do take out some 3-5 minutes at least after namaz and concentrate. Think that ALLAH is remembering you too, and WALLAHI He surely will.

To keep your concentration more firm, close your eyes, feel yourself before ALLAH, and do dhikr. You will yourself see the effects of Dhikr on your heart.

We thought to share some benefits of dhikr! but…. , what benefits would be above this benefit that ALLAH will remember you, He will mention your name?

No pleasure above this.

We are sharing some dhikr mentioned in Hadith. What is the power of these words. We can never imagine.

1.  Jabir (RadiALLAHU anhu) reported that the Prophet said,

“The best dhikr is ‘La ilaha illa’llah,’ and the best supplication is ‘al-hamdu lillah‘.” (an-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah)

2.   Abu Hurayra (RadiALLAHU anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah said,

“Two words are light on the tongue, heavy in the balance, beloved to the Merciful:

“SubhanALLAHI  Wa Bi Hamdihi : SubhanALLAHIL Azeem .”

3. Abu Musa (RadiALLAHU anhu)  said that the Prophet said,

“Say:‘There is no power nor strength except by Allah.’ It is one of the treasures of the Garden

“Whoever says ‘There is no strength nor power except by Allah’, it is the cure for ninety-nine illnesses, the least of which is worry.”)

Have a good good week, May ALLAH accept ours and your efforts. And may He protect us from riya.

Also i would like to mention that this task is suggested by our American revert sister “guided heart” May ALLAH reward her good.

P.S If anyone of you would like to add something that we have left , and not mentioned, you are all welcome,.

Wassalam O Alikum
