O Omer! Peace be upon you!
Asslam o Alikum Wa RahmatuLLAHI Wa Barakatuhu!
Once upon a time there was a ruler named Omer!, a just and kind Ruler. People lived in his time with peace and satisfaction.
One day he was sitting with some guests during night,. There was huge abrupt wind. Because of a sudden flow of wind the Chraagh (mud lamp) blew off, and was about to fell down from the wall cavity.
One of the companions said to the ruler, “O leader! the lamp is blown off, and the slave who sets it has gone to sleep already, may i set the lamp”?
The leader replied: “It is not from the manners that the host keeps sitting while the guest stands up”
And then the leader himself stood up , set the lamp, came back and said a sentence which is still adhered to my heart since i read this story, he said:
i rose and i was Omer, i have come back and i’m still Omer!
Now may i tell you who was that leader???
ummm! okay its your turn this time to tell all of us, l that this narration is about whom? Which omer? (i know that u know it) 🙂
Peace be upon you o leader! peace be upon you! May there be so much light, so much noor in your Qabr. Peace be upon you.
Wassalam! (waiting 4 the answers )
